Don Burns,
General Manager

"It is soooooo good to be back!"

Don was the Station Manager for The House FM and My Praise FM from 2010-2012, and after running a couple of radio stations in Wisconsin (WOW it's cold there) and in Virginia (too far from home), he and his wife Valerie are back in Oklahoma.

In addition to being the new General Manager, Don will also be hosting the Afternoon Show on My Praise FM from 3-6 each day. You also might hear him filling in on The House FM from time to time, and maybe a weekend shift or two.

"In my spare time I really just love hanging out with my wife Valerie. Whether it's watching cheesy movies on Hallmark TV or trying to get her to become interested in Fantasy Football, we love to just spend time together. We also love to travel to somewhere we've never been before, but our favorite activity is spending time with our kids."

Other random facts: I have been to 44 of the 50 United States and to 8 different countries (told you I love to travel). I love to walk, almost all sports, and ice cream!

Shaun Michaels,
Production Director

I grew up in Central Kansas developing my passion for radio by listening to it every spare minute of the day.   This led to my first job at the local Christian radio station during my senior year of high school.   After graduation I moved to Nashville, Tennessee and attended Trevecca Nazarene University receiving a degree in Mass Communications.   As much as I loved the Nashville scene, God's plan for me was to move back closer to home.   After working in the Kansas City area for a few years, my next move was Ponca City, Oklahoma.   In addition to working at the House and My Praise FM since 2003, I have also developed a national radio show specializing in classic Christian music called, "Christian Music Rewind".   God has also blessed me with a wonderful wife.  Deanna and I were married August 5th, 2006.

Donna Hollifield,
Office Manager

It's been my pleasure to serve the ministry of The House FM / My Praise FM since 1999. When I'm not busy crunching numbers and helping our staff, I enjoy working in our local church (my husband is the senior pastor), singing in the choir, and doing all kinds of crafts, especially jewelry making.

David Land,
Chief Engineer

David Land grew up in McAlester, OK. David graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University then went on to the University of Arkansas where he received a Masters in Instrumentation. David spent 25 years as the Ponca City Refinery Instrument Engineer. During that time he met Doyle Brewer at church and helped him install his first translator at Doyle's home. Later, in 1992 he helped install the original KLVV 88.7 radio station with help from a couple of other engineer friends. He was the main Radio Engineer for the station from that time until 2004 on an un-paid volunteer basis while working for Conoco.

In 2004 Doyle hired a full-time Chief Engineer for the station to begin the expansion which now includes 7 Full Power stations and 10 more low power translators around Oklahoma and Kansas. In 2009 ConocoPhillips transferred David's group to their Houston offices. David worked there until 2012 when the companies split into ConocoPhillips and Phillips 66. After 1 year of working for Phillips 66 in Houston he decided to retire and move back "home" to Ponca City, the Big City life of Houston was not for him! He spent a total of 34 ½ years working for Conoco, ConocoPhillips and Phillips 66.

After retiring in 2013 and moving back to Ponca City he went back to work part time for the Love Station in June. He also teaches an Instrumentation Course at nearby Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa. David enjoys working on computers, Ham Radio, and various shooting sports. He is a Deacon at First Baptist Church, Ponca City where he also works on the sound/video/media team. David was married to Sherre in 1976 and they have two grown daughters, Andrea and Erin and three grandchildren.

Kortny Dylewski,
Assistant Promotions Director

Hello everyone! My name is Kortny. Born and raised in Ponca City, I left for a couple years but came back, my red dirt roots run deep and I love being near my family.

I'm an avid painter, on pretty much whatever will hold paint. I have the privilege of collaborating with many local businesses around town on their windows and signs, and events, operating under the name Red Dirt Rosie. I also have been blessed with success in painting shoes and other custom items, including a few pairs I've got to hand over to a few performing artists! I also get to teach painting classes at the Ponca City Art Center to adults and children. God is good.

Kortny Dylewski

I have two fantastic children, Averie, 2, and Elijah, 5. They are my fellow adventure seekers, and love painting with me. We have attended Victory Worship Center for almost 2 years, they are our home and family. I love how God has changed my life and taken care of me at every turn, and enjoy hearing others' testimonies.

I'm an awesome shower singer, life speaker and encourager, craft lover, passionate arts advocate and have dedicated my life to living freely in Jesus' name. I'm so quirky and awkward that it's endearing. I love handing out high fives and hugs, the world is best when we love.

2 Corinthians 5:7 For we walk by faith, not by sight.

Darren Clonts,
Assistant Program Director

Hey kids. I assume you're on my bio because you're doing a report or something, so here's some things you should know about me. I grew up in Blackwell, OK (still live there today). Married to Tina (wonderful wife) and we have 4 awesome kids together. I have the best job in the world, serving God and being a part of this radio ministry. I have two Chihuahuas and I love my iPhone. I've never watched Duck Dynasty and I also sometimes eat nachos with a fork. That about covers it. If you think of another question to ask, you can email me at Thanks, and good luck on your report.

Shelby St. James,

Hey! I'm Shelby. After listening to the station for years, my mother and I decided to volunteer at Kid DJ day, where my life forever changed. Doyle Brewer talked to me about applying for the intern job and one thing led to another and now I'm getting the privilege of talking to you lovely people through the radio!

That's one huge lesson I've learned in my faith is that if you are passionate about following God's will, He'll open doors and windows of opportunity no man can shut. …You just have to trust and be willing to walk through them.

I study at Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa. I attend and serve at in Stillwater.

I'm currently into the television series ‘Once Upon A Time'. Disney movies are my favorite. I paint my nails when I need a relaxing activity. I enjoy watching/participating in musicals and plays. I enjoy reading, although I'm terrible at picking out good books. That being said if you want to recommend a book or just want to connect with me, follow me on Instagram or Twitter @ShelbyLove95.

Other random facts: My middle name is Love (yes, really).I'm an only child. I love anything that contains peanut butter and chocolate.

Josh Evans,
The House FM Morning Show Co-Host

It's kind of weird that you're looking at this bio.

Like, don't you have homework to do or a nap to take or something? But since you're here, let me fill you in on a few details.

Let's start with the important things:
  • I consider myself a PopTart enthusiast; if you ever want to discuss PopTarts, I'm your guy
  • There's a lot of enjoyment I receive from #hashtagging things
  • Sometimes I have lip-sync battles with myself in front of the mirror (I typically win)
Also, I have to talk myself into leaving the apartment every morning because it's so cold here in the winter. Stop it – don't make fun of me. Although I'm originally from northern Michigan, I spent the last couple years doing radio in West Palm Beach / Miami. It's 85 degrees year-round in Florida. Also, I've noticed you don't have any oceans here -- does Lake Ponca count?

(You're still reading this. Wow . . .)

Seriously though, I'm so thrilled to be on the "Wake Up with Josh and Jenn" morning show! I've loved radio since I was a kid and it's the only thing I've ever wanted to do for a career. So happy to have you along while I live out my dream!

When I'm not on the air, I can almost guarantee you'll find me in the corner of a coffee shop; I might have my headphones in, but make sure you come say hello! I also really like reading CS Lewis, watching Netflix, and traveling the world! (I'm trying to make it to every continent – just have South America and Australia left!)

Okay. That's enough for now. Thanks for stalking my bio.

See you at your local coffee shop & on the airwaves!

Constance Shearer,
Office Assistant

Hey, my name is Constance! I began working with this amazing radio ministry in June 2015. I've been a listener of The House FM and God opened the door to me for this position at just the right time. He shows me each day that He will take care of my every need and I give Him the glory for all He does. I pray I can be a blessing and light to others and that my work here is valuable to the ministry. I have the most precious little boy Everett, he holds my heartstrings! The best chapters of my life have been watching him discover the world God has created for us.

Lea Bennett,
Administrative Assistant

I moved back to the Ponca City area in 1989. I gave my heart to Jesus in 1999 -2000. Music has always been a huge part of my life, and I needed to hear something different. I found the "The Love Station" on the radio dial, and I have never turned back! I have volunteered off and on ever since, and now I am very happy to be part of the behind the scenes effort that keeps the "On Air" ministry going.

Andrea Wanless,
Promotions Assistant

Well hello there! My name is Andrea. I was born and raised in Pennsylvania, but now I am here in Oklahoma and it has grown to become my home! I am so thankful and blessed to have the opportunity to work with this great ministry and team of people.

I love to praise God and give thanks for all Jesus has done. He has absolutely transformed my life and renewed my mind. My favorite verse is from Romans 8:37-39 and I hope you know how much God loves you and that NOTHING can separate you from His abundant love!

I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I am very grateful for my son Mason who keeps me very active and happy. We will soon become a Bridge Resource Family and be welcoming children to our little but growing family. I LOVE Jesus, writing poetry and singing praises to the Lord. I enjoy volunteering at the local detention center. I am still looking for my church home in Ponca but I will always have a loving family of believers back at Harrisburg First Assembly of God.

I pray the Lord blesses and keeps you and makes His face shine upon you in abundance!
