Carder Price,
House Morning Show Host

Hello to all reading this: thank you for taking the time to read a bio of someone you probably just laid eyes on for the first time (sorry to disappoint, but then again you probably should've guessed I'm not a model. After all, I'm in radio and not television). I actually grew up in Ponca City, OK and worked at The House FM in high school. Went on to UCO where I graduated with a broadcasting degree, and met my wife! After a year at another station, this blessing of a job came along! A positive message AND great listeners? What's not to like? BTW I just started "Lost" on Netflix. Don't ruin anything for me.

Shaun Michaels,
Production Director

I grew up in Central Kansas developing my passion for radio by listening to it every spare minute of the day.   This led to my first job at the local Christian radio station during my senior year of high school.   After graduation I moved to Nashville, Tennessee and attended Trevecca Nazarene University receiving a degree in Mass Communications.   As much as I loved the Nashville scene, God's plan for me was to move back closer to home.   After working in the Kansas City area for a few years, my next move was Ponca City, Oklahoma.   In addition to working at the House and My Praise FM since 2003, I have also developed a national radio show specializing in classic Christian music called, "Christian Music Rewind".   God has also blessed me with a wonderful wife.  Deanna and I were married August 5th, 2006.

Ryan Van Fleet,
Operations Manager

Hi, I'm Ryan. I grew up in Winfield, KS, and received my Bachelor's in Business Administration from Kansas State University. I've been married to my love, Missy, for 12 years. We have two wild and crazy boys. Jacob is 7 and Josiah is 5. I am blessed to be working for an organization where I am not only free, but encouraged to express my love for Jesus Christ. One of my favorite passages in the Bible is Colossians 3:23-24. It says, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving." It is such a blessing to know that we are serving the Lord Jesus Christ through this ministry. I pray that this ministry is a blessing to you as well.

Donna Hollifield,
Office Manager

It's been my pleasure to serve the ministry of The House FM / My Praise FM since 1999. When I'm not busy crunching numbers and helping our staff, I enjoy working in our local church (my husband is the senior pastor), singing in the choir, and doing all kinds of crafts, especially jewelry making.

David Land,
Chief Engineer

David Land grew up in McAlester, OK. David graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University then went on to the University of Arkansas where he received a Masters in Instrumentation. David spent 25 years as the Ponca City Refinery Instrument Engineer. During that time he met Doyle Brewer at church and helped him install his first translator at Doyle's home. Later, in 1992 he helped install the original KLVV 88.7 radio station with help from a couple of other engineer friends. He was the main Radio Engineer for the station from that time until 2004 on an un-paid volunteer basis while working for Conoco.

In 2004 Doyle hired a full-time Chief Engineer for the station to begin the expansion which now includes 7 Full Power stations and 10 more low power translators around Oklahoma and Kansas. In 2009 ConocoPhillips transferred David's group to their Houston offices. David worked there until 2012 when the companies split into ConocoPhillips and Phillips 66. After 1 year of working for Phillips 66 in Houston he decided to retire and move back "home" to Ponca City, the Big City life of Houston was not for him! He spent a total of 34 ½ years working for Conoco, ConocoPhillips and Phillips 66.

After retiring in 2013 and moving back to Ponca City he went back to work part time for the Love Station in June. He also teaches an Instrumentation Course at nearby Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa. David enjoys working on computers, Ham Radio, and various shooting sports. He is a Deacon at First Baptist Church, Ponca City where he also works on the sound/video/media team. David was married to Sherre in 1976 and they have two grown daughters, Andrea and Erin and three grandchildren.

Married to Tina (wonderful wife) and we have 4 awesome kids together. I have the best job in the world, serving God and being a part of this radio ministry. I have two Chihuahuas and I love my iPhone. I've never watched Duck Dynasty and I also sometimes eat nachos with a fork. That about covers it. If you think of another question to ask, you can email me at Thanks, and good luck on your report.

Shelby St. James,

Hey! I'm Shelby. After listening to the station for years, my mother and I decided to volunteer at Kid DJ day, where my life forever changed. Doyle Brewer talked to me about applying for the intern job and one thing led to another and now I'm getting the privilege of talking to you lovely people through the radio!

That's one huge lesson I've learned in my faith is that if you are passionate about following God's will, He'll open doors and windows of opportunity no man can shut. …You just have to trust and be willing to walk through them.

I study at Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa. I attend and serve at in Stillwater.

I'm currently into the television series ‘Once Upon A Time'. Disney movies are my favorite. I paint my nails when I need a relaxing activity. I enjoy watching/participating in musicals and plays. I enjoy reading, although I'm terrible at picking out good books. That being said if you want to recommend a book or just want to connect with me, follow me on Instagram or Twitter @ShelbyLove95.

Other random facts: My middle name is Love (yes, really).I'm an only child. I love anything that contains peanut butter and chocolate.

Jenn Derrick,
House Morning Show Co-Host

Hey, I'm Jenn...the coffee-less lady who wakes you up from 6-10am on the "Wake Up! Morning Show" with Carder on The House FM and I hang around to help your afternoon drive home on My Praise FM! Off the mic, I'm the Assistant Promotions Director for both The House FM and My Praise FM.

My life's motto is "Strive to please and glorify God; along the way you'll catch the attention of people with the same priorities." I'm learning, everyday, to wait on God; His ways are not my ways & His timing is definitely not my timing! Along with working at the station and hanging out with you, I enjoy movies, baking, visiting my old stomping grounds in Tulsa and singing with the worship band at Life Center. Be my friend on Facebook, email me or follow me on Twitter and let me know what's going on in your life. Looking forward to talking with you and hanging out at the next concert!

Other random info: Anything with coconut or pickles is disgusting, favorite color is red and I'm a vegetarian want-to-be.

Check out Jenn on Facebook or Twitter on her Blog. Also, Jenn wanted to share this printable sheet with you – a bunch of Scriptures of who you are in Christ!

Jennifer Vaughan,
Promotions Director

I started working at The House FM & My Praise FM in April of 2010. This non-profit ministry has made such an impact in my life though the music, the message and the teaching programs, not to mention being a blessing to work at. I am happy to have a small part in helping the radio station make an impact in other's lives through Christ. My husband, Steven, and I have been married since May of 2008 and we've been blessed beyond belief with three little boys. Wesley, William and Warren keep us on our toes as we enjoy hunting, fishing, and any other activities where we can soak in the beauty of the outdoors that the Lord created. The boys waste no time exploring it all by getting dirty, throwing rocks and searching for snakes and bugs.
