Rose Day at State Capitol
The Rose Day program will be held in the House chamber of the Oklahoma state Capitol on February 4th at 11:45 a.m. Registration will begin at 9:30 in the 4th floor rotunda. Information about legislation will be provided. Visiting with your senator and representative will be a focus of the day's activities. You can learn who your legislators are at registration. The state Capitol in Oklahoma City is at 2300 North Lincoln Blvd.

The African Children's Choir will perform a concert at the Family Life Center of FUMC Stillwater on Friday, February 6! The Assembly of God Church in Yale, OK is hosting “The Battle of Round Mountain” Civil War Reenactment. This year is a very special year! We are celebrating the 150th Anniversary of the Civil War. The dates of the reenactment are February Friday 20th, Saturday 21st, and Sunday 22nd. Friday is the “Living History Day” where students from local schools and adults can come out and tour the camps and experience life during the Civil War Era. Saturday and Sunday are the battle days. The battles start at 2 PM each day. The location of the church (where the activity is held) is 777 Glory Rd, Yale, Ok. Admission is free on Friday. Admission for Saturday & Sunday battles is $5 for 12 years old and up. There will be food and merchandise vendors at the entrance and also era vendors in the battle area.
